New technology is upon us - grab a cheaper telephone line with lots of benefits .
We operate a simple tariff, take a base price subscription (just £5 per month), add the minutes bundle you want. You can select any number of minutes really.
For example a bundle of 100 minutes of calling will cost you £1, if you prefer 200 minutes then the cost £1.40. If you think you need as much as 2000 minutes then that will cost you £2.10.
If you frequently call family and friends, encourage them to take up our service and calls between you are free of charge and don't come out of your bundled allowance.
You can change your bundles at any time (up or down) although they are subject to a 30 day notice period.
If you exceed your bundle allowance then calls to local/national numbers are charged at 1.25 pence per minute and calls to mobile numbers are charged at 5 pence per minute. Each call is billed by the second and rounded to the next whole penny. The prices quoted are inclusive of UK VAT at the prevailing rate.
Pricing
All prices include VAT at the prevailing rate. Customers are invoiced monthly in advance for service charges and in arrears for call charges. Payment is only available by Direct Debit.
Calls charged outside the minutes bundle selected are charged by the second and billed to the nearest whole penny. Details of all our calling rates can be found here.
- Call recording is available but has an additional charge of £2.64 per month. Calls are recorded and saved a period of 90 days when they will be deleted. If you require storage of longer than 90 days then call storage is charged at £4.74 per Gigabyte stored. Prices include VAT.
Keep your existing number
Keeping your number isn't a problem and doesn't cost you anything. Once you've completed your Letter of Authority (it's an industry standard document) and sent us a copy of a recent telephone bill, we need this to prove you actually own the number. We will make our application to 'port' your number to our platform. The process is seamless and normally takes around 14 days, but can sometimes be a little longer, usually if any information is missing.
Or choose a new one
There are many reasons why you might want a new number. We can supply numbers in every UK town or city, just let us know what you want. Sometimes a change of number may make you want to use a UK Nationwide number (0333 etc) so your business can advertise just the one number and then use our Uboss provisioning platform to decide how to route calls into different geographic centres. For the global players we can provide numbers to every destination in the world.
Why choose Fractal Telecom?
There is a lot of confusing information on the internet concerning how much things cost. Small print gets in the way too, and before long you realise you've taken on a committment for a long period and it's costing you more than you thought. We provide a no frills alternative on a 30 days minimum term contract which for all practical purposes means you aren't tied into a contract at all so you're free to leave ( we hope you don't).
Why not give it a try - you may actually like the simplicity we have to offer.
What is VoIP and why should I use it?
VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a universally accepted protocol to convert speech signals into little packets of data that can be sent over the internet and used to establish a telephone call.
Why you should use it is because you don't really have much choice. The older systems are being switched off for good so your existing telephone lines won't work any longer. The good news is that VoIP is now a very mature technology and provides significant benefits to those who use it.
